SRO expands global portfolio with TSS The Super Series partnership

• Joint venture solidifies SRO presence in Southeast Asia
• TSS The Super Series to adopt SRO Balance of Performance for GT3 and GT4
• Pirelli becomes official tyre supplier of TSS The Super Series

SRO Motorsports Group will further expand its global footprint this year by embarking on a new joint venture with TSS The Super Series.

Established in 2013, the TSS programme caters for a range of categories that include GT3 and GT4, with this year’s calendar consisting of five events in Thailand and Malaysia. With legal formalities advancing, the new partnership will provide access to SRO's industry-leading knowledge as TSS seeks to enhance its international profile.

On the technical front it will adopt SRO's renowned Balance of Performance (BoP) regulations for both GT3 and GT4. Refined by many years of exacting development, this highly regarded system ensures competitor confidence and industry credibility.

TSS will also join SRO championships around the world by becoming a solely Pirelli-supplied series. As such, TSS drivers will now use the same tyres as their global contemporaries in GT World Challenge powered by AWS and beyond.

These developments will allow TSS to build on strong foundations. In recent seasons it has drawn established international stars to compete against the best regional talent, including the likes of Markus Winkelhock, Earl Bamber, Edoardo Mortara and Pierre Kaffer.

Grids include contemporary GT3 and GT4 cars from the world's premier manufacturers, with the Ferrari 296 and 992-generation Porsche 911 both set to join TSS this season. The series has made strides towards international expansion by producing media communications in Thai and English, while races are streamed live with commentary in Thai, English, Chinese and German.

The partnership with TSS further strengthens SRO's presence on the Asian continent, which already encompasses GT World Challenge Asia, Japan Cup and the new SRO GT Cup in China. SRO also works alongside the FIA to organise the FIA GT World Cup in Macau, and with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest in overseeing the Asian Le Mans Series.

Stéphane Ratel, SRO Motorsports Group Founder and CEO: “I am very happy to begin this new partnership with TSS The Super Series. SRO has made great strides in Asia over the past decade and this agreement further solidifies our position. We are delighted that TSS will adopt our Balance of Performance regulations, and it is very pleasing to see them forge a partnership with Pirelli, with whom SRO has worked closely for many years. I am sure that this marks the start of an exciting phase of development for TSS The Super Series.”

Sontaya Kunplome, The President of TSS: “Partnering with SRO marks a significant milestone for TSS The Super Series. While TSS is already established at an international level, this collaboration strengthens our competitive platform through SRO’s global standards, technical expertise, and proven Balance of Performance system, along with the Pirelli partnership. Moreover, this partnership opens exciting opportunities for regional talent to thrive globally. Together, SRO and TSS will also collaborate to organise and further develop motorsport across the Southeast Asia region, fostering growth and elevating the sport throughout the area.”

TSS The Super Series’ 2025 campaign begins at Chang International Circuit in Thailand on May 22-25.
